The One Where I Discuss TV.
I know, right? This girl NEVER blogs on a Friday, much less four times a week. Who am I???
Anywho, I am excited to be linking up with Neely and Megan, although to be honest, I really don't have much to say about television this week, except, I WANT MY SHOWS BACK! I hate summer hiatus:(
Regardless, here is my take on the crap that I watched this week.
1.) The Voice

I actually JUST started watching last week. Minus Christina's potential nip slip wardrobe choices, I've really enjoyed it...well, parts of it. My thoughts?
* Blake Shelton has a great sense of humor! I loved that his team performed a Maroon 5 song!* Speaking of Blake, I feel awful for Xenia. She does have a unique voice, but I just don't think she has the chops to compete with the rest. Seriously. Who had the bright idea to put this poor little girl on live television???* I think I really enjoy the judges more than the talent. Is it wrong that minus Dia (Team Blake) and Frenchie (Team Hooker), I didn't really care for the rest?
2.) White Collar

I've watched the show sporadically here and there, but I'm not really into it. I watch because a.) there's nothing else to watch, and b.) because Neal Caffrey is HOT! AND, it's super fun to see ghosts of television past, like Kelly Kapowski. And Stanford Blatch. And Peyton Sawyer.
So, basically, what you got out of this post is that:
* I think Christina Aguilera is a hooker.* I really need my shows to return.
But, I'm totally going to redeem myself. Are you ready? Just watch this video of a cute little Asian kid.

Please call the police for I'm about to kidnap that little Asian Warbler and carry him around in my pocket all day. I used to think there wasn't anything cuter than Asian babies but now I know that Asian babies in prep-school jackets singing glee songs is the new champion.

ReplyDeleteI love The voice! Blake is just wonderful, and yes, Christina was definitely looking pretty trashy. Loved Dia and Patrick! I like Frenchie, but didn't like her song choice this week.

ReplyDeleteI liked the voice better in the beginning. Now it's just eh. They kicked off a bunch of my favs.
ReplyDeleteDid you see Christina's armpits when she was performing?! WTF? They were all spotted, like they didn't spray tan them. Creepy!
My thoughts on the Voice:
ReplyDelete1. Blake and Adam are both super sexy and I lust over them throughout the whole show.
2. Javier Colon (team Adam) is THE BOMB--soooo talented and even moreso, SO HOT. ;)
I haven't seen either show. I hear everyone's loving The Voice though!
ReplyDeleteI agree that I've definitely been enjoying the judges more then the singers. But I didn't catch last week's episode yet. Looks like I have a nip slip to look forward too... haha.
