My Christmas Babies!

Today is an extra special day for our family, because not only is it Layla's first Christmas, but it's also Mike's birthday!  Layla and I are so lucky to have Mike in our lives.  He's been such a hands-on, active dad, and I love watching him with our daughter.

 Mikey, there are many things I love about you, but here are just a few:

 * Your keen eye for design.

 * Your ability to have THE loudest belly laugh - usually at the most inappropriate times.

 * Your wicked sense of humor.

 * Your knack for saying exactly what is on your mind.

 * The way you treat both me and Layla like queens.

 * How you constantly make up your own words and lyrics to songs.

 * Your determination to turn our new house into a home, even if it means leaving tools and boxes everywhere...

 * The way you have embraced my friends and family as your own.
