A Husband / Wife Survey!

Hi guys!  I found this fun survey on Amber's blog and I thought I'd borrow it!  A funny story about Amber: the name of her blog is "Brunch With Amber".  And even though Mike has never met her, whenever we talk about going out for brunch, he asks if Amber is going to join us.  He thinks it's hilarious.  So, I find it fitting that I found this on her blog!  :)

How long have you been together?

Mike: We've been together for 9 years...soon to be 10!

Meghan: 9 years, married for almost 4!

Where was your first date?

Mike: My apartment.  I made dinner, and then took Meghan out to see a band.

Meghan:  Mike's apartment.  He made me an AMAZING dinner, but I was convinced that there was a chance that he was a serial killer.  So, I was super nervous.

Where was your first kiss? 

Mike: In my car, in Meghan's driveway.  Gavin DeGraw was on the radio.

Meghan: In Mike's car.  He met up with my friends and I at a bar, and ended up driving me home that night.

Who first said, "I love you"? 

Mike: Meghan "accidentally" said it while we were out shopping one day.  I made her laugh, and she said "Oh my gosh, I love you".  She claims this isn't "real".  (I stand by this.  It just kind of slipped out.)

Meghan:  Mike did.  I thought he was going to break up with me when he said we needed to talk, because I had gotten really drunk the night before.

Who is her celebrity crush? 

Mike: Adam Levine

Meghan: Adam Levine and/or Jon Hamm.  Depends on the day!

If she was ordering drinks for both of you what would you each get? 

Mike:  Water and a Coke:)

Meghan: A Coke or iced tea for him, and water for me.  However, my pre-pregnancy drink would have been a nice glass of malbec!

What is the best meal she has ever cooked you? 

Mike: Tacos.  I think so.  It's all she ever cooks for me.

Meghan: He probably won't name one meal, but say that he can count the number of meals I made him on one hand.

What is the worst meal she has ever cooked you? 

Mike: A burrito bake with maple syrup.

Meghan: He will probably mention my latest disaster, a burrito bake that I accidentally added maple syrup to.

What would she say is your most annoying habit? 

Mike: Socks in the couch.

Meghan: Stuffing socks in the couch cushions or leaving shoes by the door.

What is the last thing she does before she goes to bed? 

Mike: Take off her glasses.  Cover up?

Meghan: Fall asleep on the couch first!  :)  Then, cover myself with too many blankets.

What would you say is your favorite thing about her? 

Mike: There's a lot of things to love about you.  You have a need to take care of people, and sometimes you take care of people without them even realizing it.  

Meghan: To be funny, he might mention my growing "pregnancy chest".  In all seriousness, he might say my "unitentional comedy". 

What's her go-to drink at Starbucks? 

Mike: This is a funny question.  I don't really order the drinks, because our barista already knows:)  But, I'll go with a grande skinny caramel macchiato. 

Meghan: It changes.  My most consistent drink has been a grande skinny vanilla latte.  Or grande skinny caramel macchiato.
