Hello! I hope everyone has had a wonderful week so far! I have a HUGE weekend planned, which may or may not include a dear friend's wedding in Milwaukee (which is Algonquin for "the good land"). Early congrats to Jordan and Jeremy! I cannot wait to post all about the deets when I return. Until then...
...I'm linking up with these fabulous ladies to share my Favorite Holiday Movie(s)!
Things get pretty stressful at work this time of year, and with the weekends filling up, I really don't have much time to sit and watch movies. However, this year, I am DETERMINED to enjoy some quiet evenings at home with my husband, hot tea, blankets, and...
I've only seen Love Actually once and it was doing a girls night where I was only paying attention on and off. Elf is one that I've never seen. This may have to be the year!
Love Actually is one of my all time FAVES! Have you seen Family Stone? That also tops my list! My classic faves are Miracle on 34th Street, It's a Wonderful Life and the Muppet Christmas Carol (of course)...Gotta love the holidays!!
In general, I'm not really a movie person, but I am all about the Christmas movies this season! I need to set my DVR to record some so I can watch in front of my beautiful Christmas tree. :) I have only seen bits & pieces of Love, Actually, believe it or not . . . but I welcome any other recommendations since I'm not knowledgeable about movies!
I DO love "Love Actually" as well as that scene where Joanna sings. But Elf is my very favorite contemporary holiday movie. I always watch "White Christmas, while wrapping presents. We used to watch "A Christmas Story" while decorating the tree. Nothing beats "A Charlie Brown Christmas!"
Love Actually is one of my favorite Christmas movies, along with Elf and The Holiday. I also like This Christmas but it seems like a lot of people haven't seen it (or even know about it).
You know the more and more I watch Elf, the funnier it gets.
LOVE this movie!
