Catch Up.

Hello lovelies!


I hope this post finds everyone happy, healthy and enjoying a beautiful weekend!  Thanks for being so understanding about taking a little breaky-break.  With the return to school, it was quite a chaotic week, but now that I am settled into a routine, I look forward to catching up with y'all!


I wish I had some exciting, earth-shattering news for my post, but sadly, I do not.  Life is just good, and that's really all there is to it!  Some things I've been up to?


* The return to school, obvi.  It's been fantastic and I am really hoping for another great year.  So far, so good!


* New school clothes!  So, I am pretty much obsessed with dresses these days, and I am excited to share with you not only my first Modcloth purchase, but my first day outfit:

* Hanging with the girls!  My friends and I take an annual trip to Michigan and enjoy one another's company.  The weekend was filled with "Snooki poofs" (which, btw, I totally rocked) and childbirth discussions (which, btw, totally grossed me out).

* More baking.  Seriously, folks, EVERYONE has a birthday in August and the public has spoken.  They love my cuppy-cakes.  SO, I've been a baking machine.  My latest creation?  A key lime cupcake! (This isn't the exact cake, but it's fairly close!)

* Catching up on life!  From cleaning to laundry to working out, it was nice to have some time this weekend to get organized for the new year.


Before I sign off, I wanted to wish my daddy a very happy birthday!  He works so hard for my family and I just want him to know how much I love and appreciate him!  Happy Birthday, Dad!
