In a rare twist of events, I was able to head downtown last Wednesday for a Flywheel class sponsored by Class Pass. Class Pass is an AWESOME way to experience fitness classes in Chicago. As someone who has tried every barre class within the Chicago city limits, this is such a perfect deal for me: essentially, you pay $99/month and have access to dozens of fitness studios all over the city (scroll to the bottom of the Class Pass page to see the entire list). You get to try as many studios as you want (up to three times each) for the monthly subscription. So, if you like to change it up, this is definitely for you. From yoga to barre to spinning and everything in between, I was blown away when I saw how many studios were registered with Class Pass.
I met up with my dear friend Sally at Eataly for a light dinner (if such a thing exists there - ha!) before heading to Flywheel. It had been over a year and a half since I've been (I used to live right down the street) and I was so excited to return. Flywheel is known for its stadium seating, AWESOME music and "torq" board, where you can constantly view your progress and compete against other riders. (And yes, I am going to brag for a second: I was leading the torq board up until the final song, when I knocked the "tech pack" that measures speed/power with my knee, which reset my bike. Sigh.)

After class, we were able to sample some juice from Loop Juice and received some serious swag!
After the marathon, I plan on checking out Class Pass for myself. So far, I have my eyes on Shred415, The Bar Method and Vixen Workout!
