...about ME. Because I don't know what else to write about. And I'm really tired. These are the random thoughts I had at 6:12 on a Tuesday night after a long day of work where my right eye constantly twitched for some reason. My students thought I was winking at them. Eww.
(Update: I started writing this on Tuesday, but now it's Thursday. I feel very much the same.)
(Update: Now it's Sunday. And my craziest week of the school year is over. So, there's that.)
* I would rather order pad thai takeout than cook for myself.
* For some reason, I tend to get toothpaste all over my clothing in the morning.
* I smile a lot. Why? Because it's worth it! (Name the video!)

* I know that I don't need to race all of the time to be considered a runner.
* I look at apartments in NYC on Craigslist at 5:30 a.m. while I drink my coffee. Clearly, this is an excellent use of my time.
* Singing Broadway show tunes at the top of my lungs on my way home from work really takes a lot out of me.
* I am a relatively clean eater, but I never met an Oreo I didn't like.
* I listen to entirely too much Survivor.
* I cannot drink alcohol during the week. Seriously. Not even a glass of wine. It's as if my body knows that it's a "school night".
* I change into my PJ's as soon as I get home from work - even if it's 4:30 p.m.
* I believe that there is something wrong with people who don't appreciate "The Big Lebowski".

* I hate camping with every fiber in my being.
(I love not camping. As well as eye cream for my crow's feet, or whatever they're called.)

ReplyDeleteI LOOOOOOOOOVE The Big Lebowski! After my mom saw this she started calling her sister, my aunt, "Lebowski" or LEBO!!! Pronounced "Leebo"... because she hung out in her jammies all day and... well... you know. ROFLMFAO!

ReplyDeleteI am definitely not a camper either. I use to go with my family when I was a child but as an adult, I would not do well camping...until it's glamping (Glamorous Camping).
ReplyDeleteI am like you, I rather do takeout all week long because let's face it there is no time to cook when you get home from work (because you are starving, cranky and need something to eat stat) and I don't do leftovers.

Trying to find a free weekend that works with both our training schedules some can get our camp on again soon. It's been a whole month since we've been! (have I mentioned that I love camping?)

ReplyDeleteI really love this post! Sometimes I think random posts can be funner to write :) I change into "comfies" the second I get home. For some reason, I can be comfortable all day but still be like "ACK, UGH, CLOTHES" as soon as I get home. So crazy.
ReplyDeleteI also totally relate to the Lebowski comment, and I would add Arrested Development to that statement. The only thing I disagree with? I LOVE camping :) :)
I HATE camping, people try and convince me its fun? What is fun about sleeping on the ground, with no toilet or shower with mosquitos? Nothing that i can think of!

I change into my pjs as soon as I get home too. I wonder what people wear who don't do this. Stay in their work clothes? Put on another outfit? I cringe. I already have a TON of laundry. The last thing I need to do is wear 3-4 outfits a day.

Haha! We are SO much alike! I love not camping too :) And I refuse to wear anything fancier than pajamas when I'm at home. I think Gap and Old Navy jersey lounge pants are sooo insanely wonderful and soft...sigh.
ReplyDeleteOh, and speaking of Oreos...last night, I decided I HAD to have Halloween Oreos so Ben and I hopped into his car and headed to the grocery store with his cat (appropriately named Oreo) in tow! Unfortunately, they did not have the Halloween variety so I begged Ben to drive us to another store...that also did not have them :( When do the Halloween Oreos come out?!
I also love not camping, and I just watched the Big Lebowski- I love this list!

ReplyDelete2. I just ate a whole pack of Oreos, by myself, during the past 3 evenings. The only reason I'm not eating more right now is because I literally ate them all. I dunked them in skim milk, though, so that has to count for some health points, right?
I also hate camping. Some of my friends love it, but I've stopped pretending. Maybe I could do ONE night, as long as there were actual toilets within walking distance ... but why not just rent a cabin?
