Yes, you read that correctly. I am a big sister. To a little sister. And no, I don't have to give her a paddle or my sorority letters (Hi, Betsy!), but the super supportive and all-around blog goddess Krystin decided to create a Big Sister/Little Sister blog mentoring program. Quite honestly, I am not sure what I have to offer, but I am super excited for y'all to meet Trish of "This Life of Ours"! (By the way, Trish, I am your big bloggy sista!) So, go visit Trish's blog and say hello. She is adorable, and I admire her many home projects!
In other Compilation Tape news, I am excited to announce:
* The hubs and I are heading to AUSTIN in March, and we cannot wait! We have decided that we might as well take advantage of my spring break and plan little vacays - last year was Boston and this year is Austin. I'm a poet, and I didn't even know it.
* I like cupcakes. And I especially like cupcakes that my husband ventures out into the snow to buy for me. He's pretty amazeballs.
* I have been running - a LOT. I am sore. And tired. But I am continuing to increase my pace, and I am really proud of that. I am signed up for three races this spring: an 8K, a 5K and a half-marathon (in that order). I've run each specific race before and I look forward to kicking my own ass and beating last year's times.
* Caramel espresso is really fantastic.
* I get to be a godmother! To a really adorable little boy with amazing parents. I am beyond excited.
This is basically how I have been feeling lately:
